Next time...

So we had a mystery box auction and we made a killing (500K), but here are a few things we're going to do next time...

1) Post earlier on forums. I posted day before, and I know that that was bad, but of course hindsight is 20/20.
2) We will take donations, 100% goes back into flag (blockades, ships, etc.) or flag events.
3) We'll be providing a list of items as we accumulate them, posted below.
4) We'll clarify the rules several times and post them in the news of the house so there is no confusion/complaining.
5) We will try to only get "good" items so no one can complain.

Suggestions/Comments are welcome as always, we're planning to schedule the next one at February 17 at 5pm game time.

I agree, but we had no junk to speak of and with the price of dubs 5k was fair to start with.
If you multiply number of items per 5k it was quite fair.

Very fair, and we really only had 2 disappointed people... I will start working on the "Terms and Conditions" because people seem to be so fascinated with arguing with the EXACT wording in my Sage Events forum post.

Overall it went well?

Very well, like I said, we expect to do better in 2 weeks on that Tuesday, so the sooner you can donate something, the better.
